Home SWEET Home.

Some of you already know, but for those of you that don't, Ring Finger Studio calls Büro Urban Workspaces in Midtown Miami home.

First thing people usually ask is what's Büro?
Pronounced like the english word "bureau" it means "office" in French, and Büro is pretty much the best office, ever.

We're very fortunate to call amazing companies like Gilt City, Luxset, Mixed In Key, Studio X Architects, Marisa Matluck Photography, Mistura WatchesPonko, Gear 66, and many more our neighbors.  The space is gorgeous, and it's like it's own little creative community with businesses constantly working and growing together.  It feels like Büro and the crew here is the heartbeat of Midtown.

I sat down with Michael Feinstein, the founder, to ask him a few questions:

Who designed the Büro ad campaign? (I love them!)
I did.  I have always enjoyed the marketing side of business and wanted our ads to capture the positive spirit of co-working and the personality of our young brand.

In your own words what makes Büro unique?

Certainly the design of our space is unique.  We spent alot of time on architecture and design and I think our clients really enjoy and appreciate the fresh and modern feel of our space.  We also have managed to attract an amazing group of entrepreneurs and young companies (like Ring Finger Studio!) into our community in a short period of time. It is truly a unique and dynamic work community.

What do you love most about your business?

I love being around other entrepreneurs and creative professionals.  I also feel proud when I see Büro companies working with one another - which seems to be happening alot these days!

What big plans do you have for Büro?

There has been a great response to our "Urban Workspace" concept so we are defintiely looking to add locations in the near future.  We are currently focused on South Florida and will likely roll out in other major cities in 2012 and beyond.

Yummy food AND a beautiful wedding venue.

Eden Restaurant South Beach

We happened upon Eden after leaving the Gansevoort pool. (We were watching a filming of STK executive Chef Ralph Pagano's new show - more on that soon!)

Well, it turned out to be quite a find!  We had delicious cocktails with fresh muddled fruit, fresh hand-made roasted tomato pizza, a grilled chicken sandwich with prosciutto, brie, caramelized onion and pesto dressing and to die for french fries!  The food is fresh and feels inspired.

Sitting in the back garden, which is incredibly tranquil and decorated with billowing white draped canopies, mirrors, and lost of bright greenery, we couldn't help but think that it would be a wonderful spot for an intimate wedding.

The wait staff was very friendly and attentive, as well as the manager.  We inquired, and they do in fact rent the space out for events.  If you're interested, contact Harley DeMyers at 305-397-8760 or email him at harley@edensouthbeach.com

It's beautiful, but the food will leave your wedding guests talking.

If you aren't getting married...just go....it's delicious!

Plum Magazine Photo Shoot with Lisa Pliner and Ring Finger Studio

I don't want to give away too much, but we outfitted Lisa Pliner (Donald J. Pliner's wife and fabulous shoe designer herself) with some outrageous jewelry for a recent PLUM magazine photo shoot.  I'll be sure to post the pictures once the magazine comes out!  Look for the jewels.

My favorite dress from the shoot, a Prada "lip" dress.

Sneak peak...we were in the process of unwrapping them so they're difficult to see...sorry! Vintage emerald pieces, a hand made antique cameo necklace...just the beginning.

Also, look at the amazing Lisa Pliner shoes I picked up at the recent Donald J. Pliner Spring Soiree!

Snakeskin "Inca"

                                  Signed to yours truly.

...and me in shoe frenzy aka total bliss.

Your Story : Julie and Daissy

Occasionally we have a couple that comes along that just makes everyone smile.  They're a joy to work with, and their love and excitement about getting engaged is infectious.  These types of couples are the ones we always remember and the ones that make it such a joy to own this business.  Julie and Daissy were one of these couples.

To Julie and Daissy, we wish you happiness and love and all of the good things that life can bring.  Thank you for allowing us to be part of such a special time in your lives!

Julie and Daissy's Story:

They met on Julie's 30th birthday, while both living in NY.  Daissy says she knew from that moment that Julie was special.  A girl after my own heart, Daissy found Julie's work phone number, and left a message on Julie's voicemail a few days later.  Julie's friends teased that Daissy might have "stalker status", but Julie quickly realized that Daissy's resourcefulness was something that she loved about her.

Daissy's Engagement Ring

Their proposal was a little complicated for us.  We helped Julie first, then Daissy to surprise the other one with their ring.  I can't even begin to explain the stress we felt as we sent emails filled with little white lies to throw each of them off the other ones trail.  We were so anxious that we would mess it up and ruin the whole thing!

Thankfully neither of them were any the wiser to the others plans to propose.  Julie caught her proposal to Daissy in the pictures below.  With the help of her brother, a photographer, and after a series of family photos (which ensured the camera was set up just right), Julie popped the question at sunset on the island of Curacao.

Julie's Engagement Ring

Daissy quietly proposed to Julie about a week later.  They both said yes!  They are still figuring out
ceremony and reception options, but they're already planning their honeymoon - two weeks in Thailand!  Perfect for a couple that describes their personal motto as "Will work for travel"

Many happy travels to you!

Choosing an Engagement Ring... just another day at the office.

In the market for an engagement ring, but can't find the time to pull yourself away from your hectic schedule?

Instead of breaking away from the office during a jam-packed workweek, we'll send the Ring Finger Studio crew to you!  You're no stranger to haircuts at work, your tailor measures you in-between phone calls, and you're the king of the delivered lunch.

After all, it isn't about working harder, it's about working smarter, right?

With us, you can get a one-of-a-kind engagement ring that is perfectly tailored to your girl, without ever leaving your desk.  Plus, no need for sneaking around to get to the jeweler, so she will be completely surprised!

Call us, choose a date, and we'll bring a selection of our engagement rings for you to view over lunch, and we'll still walk you through the entire process of choosing the ring and the diamond.

Eating lunch and choosing an engagement ring...who said men aren't good at multi-tasking?!
